As a consequence, i usually feel hurt on my stupid behavior. So in future i will take care on this aspect, but already many times i have sweard similarly. But look today i again did hurt somebody. Its possible now, as one of engineering wonders have been in built in DUBAI.

We all have heard a lot about palm islands in dubai, which is home to many of BIG names in the world now.
On similar lines, there are World ISLANDS made in dubai, which is a even bigger project. This project that big that, builders were out of sand(present in sea bed).

"Questions are never stupid"
One might be wondering how can a country like dubai be out of sand stock, so for there knowledge, we cannot use desert sand to build islands, as its properties are lot different than coastal sand, and even if try using, it would spoil the natural environment. For more info, read your 7th class book :P

Like PALM islands, WORLD ISLANDS can also be seen from space.. waoooooooooo...
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; For last month and so their were talks about yamaha launching something really cool in india. So people like me were expecting them to get a 250cc doing some 20-30Ps. But this launch is not 20Ps but 20Lk :( :( .

Anyways, VMAX is a monster, as i read somewhere today "Porsche for Bikers :P".
But how many they are going to sell, how big is indian superbikes market? Both R1 and MT01's combined sale is nearly 150 till now, which costs some 12lk. And this one is some 20LKh. I suspect hardly 30-50 bikes is a big number.

Tech-Specs:-

Engine type

4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, V-type 4-cylinder

Engine cooling

Liquid cooled

Displacement

1,679cc

Bore x stroke

90.0 x 66.0 mm

Compression ratio

11.3:1

Maximum power

147.2 kW (200 PS) @ 9,000 rpm

Maximum torque

166.8 Nm (17.0 kg-m) @ 6,500 rpm

Lubrication system

Wet sump

Fuel System

Fuel injection

Clutch type

Wet, multiple-disc diaphragm spring

Ignition system

TCI

Starter system

Electric

Transmission system

Constant mesh, 5-speed

Final transmission

Shaft drive

Primary ratio

1.509

Secundary ratio

3.082

Gear ratio-1st gear

2.375

Gear ratio-2nd gear

1.810

Gear ratio-3rd gear

1.400

Gear ratio-4th gear

1.115

Gear ratio-5th gear

0.935

Fuel tank capacity

15 litres

Oil tank capacity

5.9 litres

So for every 1 HP u need to spend 10,000 Rs. But the bad thing is that, a US citizen has to spend only 18,000K($) some 9LK(nearly half of what it costs in india) for owning the beast . They are constantly improving and trying to provide something fresh in market. Then came the biggest surprise of Ninja getting launched in india, with Auto-Expo 2008.

Then internet was filled with lots of news about ninja, predicitons about prices and lots of other stuff reagarding KTM also. But, its been more than a year, when the news of "kid ninja's"(Ninja 250)launch came into the market. Every month or so some news is published saying, we are expecting its launch very early :P. Anyways, fingers are still crossed, i expect its launch to be prior to feb, 2010, before the next AutoExpo.
And importantly, Unlike what Bajaj had planned earlier the baby Ninja will not be assembled in India. So the cost will increase upto 2.5 lakh, i know its a setback for people like me, who were not buying anything else, just waiting for ninja and were well mentally prepared to spend 1.5-1.8lkh.
But anyways, lets see what happens next and when i get to drive my dream bike since childhood(the time at which i did not even know, what "cc" means :P, and i was not aware of any other bikes, lolzz)

Purpose of me

Hi Reader,

I have not been writing for such a long time, but now i am just to going to scramble some of the thoughts those keep disturbing me over and over.

I just watched my college videos on youtube. Thapar and me
I dont know why, some tears came out, may be so senti, kiddish or girlish. Whats the reason, that the image of our good moments of past make us cry and bad moments make us laugh.

This keeps on happening forever, moments of delight and sorrows, and it keeps on getting piled till the doomsday. For past few days, thoughts of death are troubling me a lot. When i hear about someone dying(irrespective of age), the next thought comes, what about his all hardwork, his collections of photographs, his memories, his secrets(which will remain unknown),his unsaid stupid stories, his dreams to see the whole world. What happens to all of that?

Something similar will happen to all of us, since the day i was born, i have been thrown into this rat race, to get more and more. And this is important also, as we have to survive and live happily in the present. But argument is, why we worry so much about surviving, why their is fear to death, if its bound to come. Why we workhard, may be for
1. pride
2. money
3. status

All of these things are ok, but how does this matter. Lets take example of Hitler, he did so much to win the world(dont know moral or immoral), but everything for him vanished in just one moment. But some people argue saying, Hitler is very popular now, he is in history books, everybosy remembers him. But my point is, what the F, hitler gets from this, GHANTA? Similar for many other great people, who worked hard whole of their life and one day, end of their thread.

I know whatever i have writeen is very very absurd, my actual complain is with the creator of this world, why he/she is using us as puppets. There are crores of threads(computer jargon) like me in the world, just waiting for stop() being called. Main purpose of each thread seems to help others threads work properly, so that no exceptions are raised.(Holy shit, so technical). I believe this "Main" program should be stopped.

Till then, i/we will have to live for others, whom life we can make pleasant(or better said, their journey to death). So Forget all the bakwas i have written, as we all want to live, party hard and spread smiles around. Chill!

Dhanyavad(Thanks) for bearing me!
Your valuable comments are always welcome.

Sangla Trip - March 2008- PART TWO - FIRST 12 HOURS

Hello Reader,

I am very sure that you if you have gone through the PART-1 (Introduction) and you are not one of the people mentioned over there, you are bound to get bore. I am concerned about my back as a computer engineer, i usually have little pain, but i don't want to disclose this to maninder as i don't want to spoil his wanderer's thoughts.

We are doing some 100K on 500(adjust the mechanical errors), i am enjoying every bit of it, till now no pains, only thing to mention is fresh air and beautiful valleys waiting to embrace me. We are about to reach Rajpura and i have called chahal about exact location of eagle motel, maninder is also asking a few locals and finally we can see lights shinning. This motel is 24 hours open, situated on outskirts of Rajpura, NH-1. We have got a table for 4 as we are expecting them soon.

Friday March-28, 2008: 9:30. We are already waiting for more than 1.5 hrs and still both of them have not arrived, i am also feeling very hungry.I think chahal is about to reach,as messages have started to flow in on maninder's phone, and right i am, chahal is already in here.So again that wave of freshness is back, gundeep has also joined us within few minutes. So everything seems to be fine. All of us have called at our respective homes and except maninder, everyone has lied. Then comes the menu, but everyone is reluctant to eat,(i don't know why!), so i am quietly following them, but i am too much hungry, all of them are having tea, but i can't (some acid problem.. shit!). Finally i have ordered a burger, after having this light dinner every body is ready. Its already 11:30pm.

Maninder and Chahal are two riders and me and gundeep are at pillion. Now, next stop is supposed to be chandigarh(zirakpur), its nearly 30 km from here. One thing to mention, the bike chahal is riding is a 350 and we are on 500, so they are always following us.There is much of difference between two.

Flashback.. Today before leaving, maninder let me do some practice runs on bullet and i was taught some basics(who knows what happens), i took it to 120(10% error), dude that accelerator is very very bad, i was lured by him to rotate it more and more, i will call it an "addiction machine".

So following NH-64 we have reached zirakpur bye-pass and from here we are going to enter hilly region(As nowdays we call them ghats in hyderabad), as we have reached earlier to 350, so we have time to strech our bodies. I can see the green sign board in front reading, Shimla-110. I am planning to have a good, comfortable bed, after this 1oo km run, probably in shimla. I am expecting to reach there at around 2:30, will also do some shopping early morning and then leave for sangla.Sound of a roaring machine have interrupted my thoughts, and chahal party is here. We will have some drinks and leave(plz dont expect Appy or cokes at midnight, always keep water).

Chapter-6 Drive To Shimla

Saturday March-29, 2008 00:01 We have started towards shimla and we are crossing pinjore now(I remember my last trip to pinjore when i was hardly 10 years old, i miss those those days when we needed Fruti at each shop!).After 50 min of journey we are about to cross kasauli, a very famous tourist destination for our Thaparians(My college people), now i am having that proud feeling that i am going to some place that is even ahead of kasauli(As i am first person to do so, stupid thoughts, ufff). So, acc to me,as i am doing something very happening, my thoughts keep on turning towards Roadies(The MTV Show), and i am imagining sitting in front of nikhil and raghu, and saying "Raghu,I have done something daring"(Heights of being stupid).Meanwhile, i have noticed some thing very special on the highway, and believe me its one of the most beautiful things, i have ever seen.

I have started jumping and shouting loudly,"brar ,brar look look on the right, down there", and as he has turned to see, it has slowly disappeared, actually i have seen Moon, or better say Giant moon(Its really really big), which seems to be at lesser height than ours, probably its full moon today and it is looking very very beautiful.Even maninder had noticed it earlier(and admired too), but he was busy and careful, driving downhill with sharp turns. Now a new problem for me, i have not been to Mr.Barber for a long time and due to helmet i have started to feel itchy. So i am taking off my helmet continually and chahal is noticing me and almost shouting to put that back(He knows if i go, somepeople are going to be in trouble, so he is bit careful about it).

Saturday March-29, 2008 01:17 Dharampur, drivers have started feeling sleepy and they want tea again, its getting cold up here and i am all dressed up to endure it. We have stopped at some dhaba, which is somehow open till now.(If you have noticed some pink bag in picture, then Mr/Ms.Reader that is a borrowed one from Nikhil(shekhu), please ignore if you dont know him). I have planned to wash my hairs and luckily got some clean water and but no shampoo, but as being an indian i have adjusted a bit and using a facewash(We indians are too good at adjusting).

After resting for few minutes we are off to shimla again, just a few kilometres before shimla, there is a McDonald's but it is closed now, so hunger will keep on increasing only.Few minutes of fresh and frigid air and i think we are in some city and according to my knowledge it can be shimla, i have been here once (According to my parents , when i was 8 months old). But then why maninder is not slowing down and stopping some where, may be he is thinking of some good place, i am on watch for chahal and gundeep, and they are very close to us now.I am lull and happy that we are going to sleep now as i am feeling tired, its already 2:30 now and more than (70 plains+ 110 hills) 180km, along with a full day of college.

Chapter 7:- Narkanda (Do you like skiing?)

I guess something is not going right here, we have crossed shimla and off to kufri now, NO STOP!!!. I have finally asked maninder about a stay and he has nothing to say except "We will do that on next good station".Now next is "Kufri", but i have realized that we have already crossed it(How can such a small place be some famous?). We are going to halt here for a few minutes,2 km ahead of kufri and get rid off excessive water in the body(Yes,you are thinking right!).Its really very cold here, and may get more as we have to go up-hills till Narkanda, next famous place, about 65Km from Shimla.

Now i am feeling really very tired and sleepy, in addition, feeling cheated (for no rest) also, what will happen to all those plans of shopping, sleeping on snugger beds???.May be its very interesting for the person on driver's seat, but for other person its more of boredom after a few hours. So due to sleep, my helmet(My head inside it) is striking with maninder's helmet,he is trying every possible way to keep me on, he is discussing most exciting stuff inculding girls, music and more girls, but i am already awake for last 22 hours(normal time for me is 10-12 hours), so rest is hardly of any concern to me. But its really really risky, sleeping on pillion, its my advice that if you ever have to face such a situation get down off bike and do sleep, because you are also risking someone else's life also.So a break has been planned but where??, nothing is open, 35 Km from Narkanda, luckily,we have found some lights on roadside, a small dhabha(Not even a dhabha but some tea spot for truck drivers),but the owner is well asleep, so chahal has decided himself to go ahead and make tea for all of us.This is real fun!, i am loving it.

Saturday March-29, 2008 04:58 Narkanda.(Have a look at background) I really don't know what has happened during last hour as i was really sleeping very badly, we have reached this very very beautiful place(More on Narkanda) and its real real cold(2-4 C), now i realize that why maninder was after my jacket. We have stopped at a petrol pump and i am thinking that probably we will be halting nearby for next 4-5 hours at least. So with joy, my eyes are all wide open, while chahal and maninder are busy with their bikes, i have decided to go in owner's room and enjoy warmth of heater.Tanks are refilled and even i am feeling rejuvenated, this place is a Must-Visit.But we are not stopping and will look for some hotel on the way to next station "Rampur"(As we have to cover a longer distance, as per chahal).Just a few km's ahead of narkanda we have seen some snow, and again that energy is back,(I think we really failed to click the real beauty of this place).

So far, we have covered our journey of (70+ 180KM, 12hrs 30 min), no sleep(Except that 1 hr), no food(1 burger, which was shared between 3), much tired especially gundeep and me, chahal is in some different mood, maninder is quiet(probably missing his GF),all this for "world's 5th most beautiful valley", but a long journey ahead, Lets see what happens next.

To be continued... Reader's comments are of billion value. Today there are talks about our failure in annual Inter-Year cultural program, you know our batch has set a record for coming last for consecutively three years, Only one to do the same, in history of thapar.I changed my clothes, or better say took off my clothes(still, wearing something to hide something) and went to brar's room (next to ours).

Brar... His full name is Maninder Singh Brar ,5'8'', fair than me, belong to bathinda, has a cute girl friend(probably i am jealous also),pure at heart, he was my roomie for last five semesters. But this time i have decided to move out, as i had to study for placements coming next semester. He is sharing room with Amritpal Singh chahal(chahal) and Anirudh Bansal(ani) , my previous roomies. One of the coolest group in our batch.

Brar has bought a new bike and is very excited about it.He has bought a BULLET-500, he took it for around 35K and has spent more than 50K on it, so making it a monster. Whether i am not allowed to ride it, but still i dont let go any chance to be at pillion. He may not admit it, but i think his passion for bike is coming more from our chahal bhaji(Big Brother).

Chahal bhaji has nothing better to do then to read and ride bikes , most of the times he can be seen showing pics of his previous trips to fellows students. He is very proud of it and i think he must be, as its not that easy to go Leh-Ladakh region (Alone) , when you have never been there before. And mind you, he is 5'10'' and too strong, so thats why we all call him bhaji. He is very intelligent also.He owns a Rd-350 , RXZ(coming in future), bullet-350 standard, NO GIRL FRIEND, whether he has told me a few secrets(God, i am the best secret keeping machine).

Yes its a fact, that most of my friends share their secrets with me and my God i am too good at maintaining them as secrets.

Sorry for distraction, third one, Anirudh Bansal, most unthankful person (To God) , i ever met. Look he is 6+, too smart that we call him "local john", but its all waste. He does not have a girl friend, already rejected a few modelling offers, most low profile in whole batch, no ambition and he does not want anything except a cozy bed and good food.

Lastly, Heaven singh , my bestest friend ever. He is so sweet that i wish he would have been her.I think people use him and he allows them to do that, he likes his books the most, and most helpful person i ever met.He is in third year(civil) and already has a 233 rank in GATE.Dude surely,he will top next year. He is having a memory better than anyone, he never store phone numbers, you just flash a number in front of him and he is going to remember it for his life time.

Chapter -2 : Why?

Chahal and brar are planning a trip to somewhere and i am even not concerned that where they are going , as i never even thought of doing same. They recently had a trip to Manali and friends. But,I always liked this bike thing and was ever fascinated by this stuff. I used to think that some day when i would be settled i will also go to long-long bike trips, explore the never-seen and never-been areas, as i suppose many boys do.

Tuesday March-25 6:30 pm, i am sitting in my room and completing some assignment of Algorithms. I have switched off the lights and busy coding some "Tree" related assignment , heaven is not in room , probably he is off to his best friend's room, "Divyarth dikshit". Yes you have guessed it right, i am not his best friend!!.

Suddenly door opens and a giant image appears in front of me, it is chahal and is looking for a Wi-Fi card, he got his computer(Some 1980's model, he likes old bikes, and i guess he has a same vision for computers also) a year back and i wonder why he is not buying a card for himself.(Uff, i hate taking my card off my PC). I am doing some serious work , so i cannot switch off my PC, but today he seems to be very curious and excited about something, he asks me open Mozilla and search for some "sangla valley" and then he is all busy showing me some crap pictures.

But suddenly i have come across "5th most beautiful valley", and now i am interested. I have mouse in my control now and started to get more from Google.com( i just wonder if i will get a chance to work with these people some day).It seems to be all interesting , this place is 65km away from tibet border and dude, this has some real effect on me, i don't know what's so special about it, but i am already imagining my self taking a sunbath in sangla valley.

I don't know what has jumped inside my mind and i have asked chahal that whether i can accompany them or not. He is saying yes, i can come with them, because he is damn sure that i wont be coming, as my parents are never going to allow me to go some place which is in some corner of himachal at a height of 2.8 KM and probably with no proper roads for about some 100 kms, and as we will be going on bikes, so just forget about it.(Come one people, i am never going to get any permission).

Chapter-3 : Moral Support

Wednesday,March-26, 2008 8:45, came out of DG's lecture and was talking about my commitment for bike trip to sangla, with Aditya kamra, one of the decent most guys i have ever met (He resembles my cousin "Manik Malhotra" a lot).

Aditya kamra.. He is usually very quite , 5'11'' , more than decent looks, introvert, different from all of us, can never harm any body, mera bestest friend,a bit stupid, original mind(i dont know what this means) ,i always consult him whenever i have a problem,.

I am asking him about my problem,(this trip has already been a problem to me), as i am worried how to convince my parents. So he is giving his no-use advices, but still we are discussing same. Now brar has come to know about my decision to go with them. You know, he is not showing it, but he is literally laughing from inside, he knows me better than me even. So by evening this sangla fever is off and i am back to my assignments and finally it is decided that i am not going. But i am still seeing sangla's pics on internet and it is disturbing me.

Thursday ,March-27, 8:45pm, after dinner, heaven is telling me about their civilian's trip to metro sight-Delhi.They are going to burn there ass in delhi , as mercury had already started to rise above 35.I am sorry for him, but all civil people are excited(God knows for what!-May be it is for 10 hr journey , or dusty-sight with lots of noise pollution to support!). As chahal is civil student he also has to go, means sangla trip is canceled.

So, i hurried to brar to get happy news of there trip cancellation , but they have some plans already.Four people are going in all. Maninder, Gundeep(EC student of our batch, i dont like him much),gundeep's cousin(He is a law student in punjabi university), Chahal( he will be joining them late in night somewhere near Rajpura).

Friday ,March-28, 7:20am, I am sitting in lawn, and thinking something.I was disturbed for whole of the night, i was thinking of what chahal was saying about short life, explore the unseen places and have a experience of life time, blah blah.Suddenly i have jumped and moved to brar's room declaring that i want to come, then he has also agreed and even giving me the required moral support,(M.S is also following from kamra and all).

Chapter-4 : Preparations

Now what next , we have to collect all the basic requirements for a mountain-bike trip. Its going to be real cold over there. And gundeep's cousin was not going with us(some problem) and plan was 2 bikes , BULLET -500(MANINDER BRAR) and BULLET-350 (GUNDEEP).

Gundeep.. He is our batch mate belongs to bathinda(same as brar), was in same group with me in first year, i kind of hate him because of his unexpected and short-tempered nature, but he is good at his heart, he will help whenever you go to him.He gets very irritated if you call him GUN(rifle)-DEEP singh( i just can't understand what's bad in it).

So i have to arrange a helmet for myself, luckily we have an old one, in very bad condition but is better than nothing( I remember we bought if for some 90 bucks in chandigarh on roadside), but all other helmets were very good, over 1K.Next is a jacket, i have one , i think that will do but maninder has different opinions.Shoes done, jeans done, one sweater done and i was all ready.

Now next is camera, chahal has a good one but he is having that at his home, maninder's phone is having 1.3M camera phone(6680)(not good enough, as it used to be 2 years back), i have already asked Sahil Galhotra(the round face boy), but he is all ready with a 'No'.Finally, kanav has given his Sony ericson phone, it is not that good , but still ok. (You really come to know about your friends when you actually need something). Anyway, everything seems to be in well shape, except one that i have not told my parents about this trip and i am really really having that guilt feel from inside(i rarely lie to them).

Friday ,March-28,6:30 pm, me and maninder have started our journey towards our first stop Rajpura, which is 30km from patiala, where we have to meet amritpal and gundeep. We have decided to meet at Eagle Motel, Rajpura. We have filled our tank, and are on highway, with a slight fear and excitement, i hope this trip will be an experience of life time.

<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"
